After last Wednesday's hair-raising season 4 premiere of "American Horror Story: Freak Show," an equally creepy second episode awaits fans this week.
In an interview posted in CarterMatt, series co-creator Ryan Murphy shared that episode 2 will also run for 90 minutes, just like the premiere episode.
"Because we love our FREAK SHOW fans, next week's episode is also 90 minutes... just like the premiere! Wait until you meet Michael & Angela!" Murphy said.
Murphy was talking about series regulars Michael Chiklis and Angela Bassett, who are believed to play a huge role in disrupting the peace in fictional Jupiter, Florida. Chiklis plays the role of Dell Toledo, the strongest man in the freak show, while Bassett takes on the role of his three-breasted wife, Desiree Dupree. It is also reported that the couple's arrival will make life difficult for Lobster Boy Jimmy Darling, played by Evan Peters.
Murphy also announced on his Twitter account that John Carroll Lynch's character, Twisty the Clown, will be given the spotlight in the upcoming episode.
He said, "In FOUR DAYS, you will see what Twisty is hiding behind that mask."
An article posted on Hollywood Life also mentioned that Twisty is the creepiest character ever created for the hit American horror series.
"One of the scariest things about Twisty is the fact that he doesn't talk. Ever. He's just completely silent. Gosh, that's creepy x infinity," the article stated.
Also, rumors are rife about how the Tattler twins, Bette and Dot, played by Sarah Paulson, will steal the limelight from freak show leader Elsa Mars, played by Jessica Lange. The next episode will also show how Frances Conroy's character, Gloria Mott, will put together a scary play date for her son Dandy, played by Finn Wittrock, after the mother-son tandem fails to buy the twins in the last episode.
