Friendly: Chelsea vs Real Sociedad

Real Sociedad closes its British tour with the most complicated match, a priori of the preseason, before Jose Mourinho's Chelsea in Stamford Bridge.

Didier Drogba looks likely to miss the beginning of Chelsea's Premier League campaign after suffering an ankle injury on his first start since rejoining the club.

The 36 year old limped out of Chelsea's 2-1 friendly win against Ferencvaros in Budapest on Sunday before the half-hour mark with a twisted ankle.

Reports claim Drogba will be sidelined for two weeks, meaning he will miss Chelsea's opening league fixture with Burnley on August 18.

When Drogba eventually came off, Chelsea were trailing to former Fulham player Zoltan Gera's opener in the final match of their European tour.

Ramires levelled things up with a dipping shot soon after the restart before summer signing Cesc Fabregas scored a brilliant winner nine minutes from time.

Fabregas, who came on as a half-time substitute, cut in from the right, dribbled into the box past the Ferencvaros defence and then fired the ball low into the bottom corner at the near post.

Chelsea now take on Real Sociedad on Tuesday at Stamford Bridge in their final pre-season friendly before the trip to Turf Moor.
