“A to Z” Season 1 Episode 3 “C is for Curiouser & Curiouser” will air on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, at 9:30 p.m. on NBC. The past is haunting Andrew and Zelda, and they will be forced to deal with it. But before the details of this episode, let’s step back and recall what happened in the last one.
In “B is for Big Glory” (air date: Oct. 9, 2014) Andrew (Ben Feldman) was committed to another date, which he made before he met Zelda (Cristin Milioti). Although Zelda said that this was fine, deep inside she was really not okay with it. So, while Andrew went to dinner with another woman, Zelda made plans with another man as well.
But their dates didn’t turn out well. Thinking that Zelda was already home, Andrew swung by her place. When he got there, he found Zelda’s date without his shirt on, so he quickly left. Zelda saw that Andrew dropped by.
The next day, the two met up and avoided talking about their dates. But Zelda couldn’t help it. She had to be upfront about it and told Andrew that what he saw was different. Her “date” only wanted something notarized, so he came by her apartment. He accidentally spilled liquid on his shirt, so he was half-naked.
Andrew was relieved and confessed that since he met Zelda, he’s been hearing music in his head. The statement wasn’t warmly received by her, though, as she was taken aback by it. But later, realizing that Andrew would do anything for her, she confessed that she wanted to be exclusive with him. They were only going to see each other, and this time, there will be no more games.
Social media has indeed changed the way people deal with each other in a relationship, and this takes center stage as Andrew and Zelda will each do their snooping of the other’s profiles. The more they will dig for information, the more they will get curious. But what they end up discovering about each other are actually secrets they do not particularly want to know about in the first place. What secrets could these be?
Meanwhile, someone at Wallflower will also be doing her own brand of snooping. The big boss, Lydia (aka Big Bird), will spy on some of her staff’s profile in the hopes of finding out what they really feel about her.
In another story, Stephie will get some tips and advise from Stu, of all people, about finding the right date in an online site.
Ben Falcone is still guest starring in this episode, while Parvesh Cheen and Hong Chau will also make appearances.
